This book asked whether and how the increasing awareness for the economic significance of climate change contributes to and reflects a shift in the rationality of governing the climate. To answer this question, the book first sought to clarify what is different between the economic perspective on climate change brought forward by the Stern Review, and what has been described as market-driven climate regime since the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol.
