Zusammenfassung
Die Biologische Psychologie ist ein Teilgebiet der Psychologie, in der die Verknüpfung biologischer und psychologischer Sachverhalte im Zentrum steht. Sie bezeichnet ein heterogenes Forschungsgebiet mit mehr oder weniger definierten Teilgebieten wie z. B. die Physiologische Psychologie, die Neuropsychologie oder die Evolutionspsychologie. Die Biologische Psychologie ist gleichzeitig auch ein wichtiges Teilgebiet der Neurowissenschaft, welche sich mit allen Vorgängen beschäftigt, die mit neuronalen Strukturen und Prozessen zusammenhängen. Die Bedeutung für die Wirtschaftspsychologie wird hier aufgezeigt.
