Abstract
The aim of the present thesis is the developing and realization of an experimental setup qualified for DFC of semiconductor lasers by purely optical means, and the demonstration of all-optical control of chaos in a semiconductor laser. Normally, semiconductor lasers do not show chaotic dynamics by themselves. However, it is possible to generate chaos in semiconductor lasers. This can be achieved, for instance, by addition of (optical) time-delayed feedback [LK80], or by the mutual delay-coupling of two semiconductor lasers [WBK+05].
