Abstract

In the preceding, it has become clear that community research, whether in organizational or boundary-less contexts, offers an impressive number of meaningful contributions of manifold community aspects while applying diverse theories and constructs from various fields of research. An overwhelming scope of empirical as well as conceptual and theoretical findings exists in community research. Consequently, scholars can build on a long tradition of community research and a massive stock of knowledge concerning the functioning of communities not least as many studies apply narrative strategies to present findings.
