Abstract

In the following sections two hypotheses concerning the influence of self-efficacy and positive affect on knowledge exchange are derived. First, the possible influences of selfefficacy on knowledge exchange in organizational innovation communities are theoretically derived. Second, the influences of positive affect on knowledge exchange are theoretically derived. The derived hypotheses represent the theoretical foundation of the two conducted quantitative experimental studies presented subsequently. The following table displays key insights from theoretical considerations.
