Abstract
The preceding parts help Tom and Ina to cope with their struggles concerning the design and creation of supportive organizational contexts and understanding social processes for innovation pursuits. In the part at hand, Norm’s struggle concerning major drivers for employees to engage in innovation endeavors is focused. One major means by which employees may engage in organizational innovation communities is knowledge exchange (Amin & Roberts, 2008; Breu & Hemingway, 2002).
Part V is based on a previous conference article presented and discussed (Bansemir, Neyer, & Möslein, 2011a) at the 2011 annual conference of the Academy of Management (AOM). The article is co-authored by Anne- Katrin Neyer and Kathrin M. Möslein An adapted version of this part is resubmitted to a well ranked journal after ‘revise and resubmit’ (Bansemir, Neyer, & Möslein). The lead author takes responsibility, e.g. for the design of the study, data gathering and analyses.
