Abstract
The objective of this brief note is to survey the literature and discuss the nature and effect of military intervention particularly by developed countries and its prospect in the future. The study of such intervention is important since it involves destruction, the deaths of soldiers, the depletion of resources and has an impact on the future of societies as well as of political leaders.
