Als Grundlage der Bestrahlungsplanung sind Computertomographie bzw. CT-Bilddaten in der Strahlentherapie von zentraler Bedeutung. Dies gilt sowohl für die konventionelle 3D- als auch für die 4D-Strahlentherapie, wobei Letztere in der Regel auf 4D-CTBilddaten basiert.
