Zusammenfassung

Mit der Steffturbine wird in diesem Artikel eine technische Weiterentwicklung des Prinzips des oberschlächtigen Wasserrads vorgestellt. Mit hohem Wirkungsgrad ist sie geländeanpassungsfähig, wesentlich raumsparender und ohne große Infrastrukturanpassungen einfach einzubauen. Damit ist sie die einzige Turbine, welche in sehr kompakter Bauweise im Betrieb bei variablen Fallhöhen und veränderlichen Wasserständen direkt angepasst werden kann.

Abstract

The turbine type being introduced in this article can be regarded as evolution of the water wheel. The Steffturbine reaches high efficiency rates, it can be adjusted to different topographical conditions and easily integrated in operational areas. Furthermore this turbine type can be adapted to varying discharges and hydraulic heads during operation. The functionality and experimental results of the efficiency characteristics are presented in this article.
