Zusammenfassung

Die Europäische Union ist eine säkulare, religiös neutrale internationale politische Organisation, die den Beitrag der Religionen und Religionsgemeinschaften zur Europäischen Einigung positiv würdigt und im konstruktiven, förmlichen Dialog mit den Vertretern von Religions- und Weltanschauungsgemeinschaften steht. Sie respektiert auch religionslose und nichtreligiöse Weltanschauungen, ist aber nicht laizistisch und basiert auf den Grundsätzen der Toleranz und der Nichtdiskriminierung, die auch als juristische Prinzipien ihre Gesetzgebung und Politik bestimmen.
