Abstract
This study looked at different Cultures of Environment and Cultures of Communication, examined in detail the different environmental communications they translate into, and finally assessed whether good environmental communication exists and which examples came closer to it. Chapter 1 mentioned the role of European public sphere, to which environmental communication is directed, and which is ultimately the public reacting to the issues concerning the environment that are regulated mostly at a EU level. It also stated the need for a common basis for discussion and greater awareness of cultural differences for joint decisionmaking on environmental matters.
