Zusammenfassung
Im Jahr 1962 veröffentlichte Thomas S. Kuhn sein Hauptwerk The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, das als eines der Hauptmarkierungspunkte in der historischen Wende der Wissenschaftstheorie gilt. Mit seiner darin entwickelten wissenschaftsphilosophischen Position grenzte sich Kuhn sowohl in methodischer als auch in inhaltlicher Hinsicht gegenüber der vorher durch den Logischen Empirismus und Karl Poppers Falsifikationismus dominierten Wissenschaftstheorie ab.
