Zusammenfassung
Wenn Nachhaltigkeit „alles und nichts“ (HAUFF/KLEINE 2005: 12) ist, gleichzeitig aber eine immer komplexer werdende Gesellschaft als ganze integrieren soll, dann kommt man nur mit einem universalistischen Theorieanspruch weiter, der Komplexität von Anfang an in seinen Mittelpunkt stellt. Einen Vorschlag für eine solche „Supertheorie“ hat LUHMANN (1987: 19) formuliert.
