  • Chapter
Experimental and Clinical Effects of L-Asparaginase

Part of the book series: Recent Results in Cancer Research ((RECENTCANCER,volume 33))

Abstract

The Wadley Institutes of Molecular Medicine are now in the third year of clinical investigation and treatment with the first known enzyme capable of depriving tumor cells of their vital nutrition, asparagine.

Read before the Symposium on Experimental and Clinical Effects of L-asparaginase at Wuppertal-Elberfeld, Germany — from October 24 to 26, 1969, by Ellen Loeb, M.D.
