Abstract
Chapter 1. Bone as a tissue is composed of cells, organic matric and mineral. Bone cells stem from the preosteoblast. Organic matrix consists of collagen and ground substance. Bone mineral contains two major phases: amorphous calcium phosphate and crystalline bone apatite.
