Abstract
The development of Ketamine, like most pharmaceutical agents, involved synthesizing and screening a large number of compounds that wer passed through pharmacology, toxicology, and clinical investigation. Most of these chemicals are eliminated during the evaluations. Finally, one compounds, in this case Ketamine, survives critical evaluation and is ready for wide clinical use.
