Abstract
Echo-encephalography has been widely used in the detection of spaceoccupying intracranial lesions and ventricular dilatation. The question of the diagnostic information provided by this method moves into the foreground because of its technical simplicity and its harmlessness for the patient, particularly since several authors (see Table 1) have a high regard for the diagnostic value of the echogram in space-occupying intracranial lesions:
