Zusammenfassung
Nicht nur Kriminelle haben das Internet für ihre Aktivitäten entdeckt, auch die Sicherheitsbehörden vieler Staaten, sowie spezialisierte Institutionen internationaler Organisationen, haben frühzeitig die Bedeutung dieses neuen Mediums erkannt. Unter der Annahme einer zunehmenden Internationalisierung des organisierten Verbrechens ist allerdings nur eine globale Lösung langfristig zielführend.
