Zusammenfassung

Periphere arterielle Durchblutungsstörungen können funktionell durch Gefäßspasmen (Raynaud-Syndrom, Akrozyanose), durch organische Gefäßwandveränderungen (Arteriosklerose, diabetische Makro- und Mikroangiopathien, chronische Entzündungen), sowie durch Einengung und Verlegung des Lumens (Thrombosen, Embolien) hervorgerufen werden. Mit peripher bezeichnet man alle arteriellen Bereiche mit Ausnahme der zerebralen Arterien. Die Koronar- und die Mesenterialarterien nehmen eine Sonderstellung ein.
