Abstract

Joints represent up to 40% of all MR examinations, which make them, after examinations of the brain and spine, the third most frequent. Almost all of the different joint diseases are found (in different frequencies) in each joint. In this chapter, joint diseases are discussed only with reference to where they are found with the highest frequency. But the basic MR symptoms are similar in all joints!
