Zusammenfassung

Die Topographie des Plexus brachialis ist durch seine Nähe zu Gefäßen, zur Pleurakuppel sowie zum Epidural- und Subarachnoidalraum gekennzeichnet. Punktionen und Injektionen dieser Strukturen können Anlaß zu Komplikationen sein (Tabelle 11.1). Obwohl ernste Komplikationen selten sind, ist auch eine Schädigung der Nerven selbst im Rahmen der Plexusblockade möglich.
