Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit fortschreitenden, inkurablen Tumorerkrankungen weisen insbesondere in den letzten Monaten des Lebens eine Vielzahl von Symptomen auf. Nichtheilbarkeit bedeutet für Patienten vielfältige Verluste; Fortschreiten der Erkrankung bedeutet oft Schmerzen, andere Symptome und psychosoziales Leid.
