Als Elementaranalyse wird gewöhnlich die quantitative Bestimmung der in einer organischen Verbindung enthaltenen Elemente bezeichnet. Die organischen Verbindungen enthalten außer Kohlenstoff Wasserstoff und oft Sauerstoff, sowie mitunter Stickstoff, Halogene, Schwefel, Phosphor und andere Elemente.
