Zusammenfassung

Bei der zu Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts von Gay-Lussac in die Chemie eingeführten Maßanalyse wird die quantitative Bestim­mung eines Stoffes dadurch bewirkt, daß man durch „Titrieren“ dasjenige Volum einer Reagenslösung von bekanntem Gehalt ermittelt, welches gerade zur quantitativen Umsetzung mit dem zu bestimmenden Stoff hinreicht. Dessen Menge ist dann durch eine einfache stöchiometrische Rechnung zu finden.
