Zusammenfassung

Da die dynamische Streßechokardiographie im Grunde genommen nichts anderes darstellt als eine echokardiographische Untersuchung während einer Fahrradergometrie, sind die Kontraindikationen und Nebenwirkungen denen einer ergometrischen Untersuchung gleichzusetzen. Die Fahrradergometrie ist seit ihrer Einführung in den 30er Jahren eine der wichtigsten funktionsdiagnostischen Methoden der Kardiologie. Ihre Sicherheit ist in riesigen Patientenkollektiven gut belegt (25, 30).
