Zusammenfassung

Nach der in Kapitel 1 gegebenen Begriffsdefinition verstehen wir unter Streßechokardiographie eine echokardiographische Untersuchung in m-mode- oder 2-D-Technik während und nach einer körperlichen Belastung bzw. einer pharmakologischen, psychomentalen, hyperventilatorischen oder elektrophysiologischen Streßreaktion. Ziel dieser Methode ist es, die Auswirkungen der gewählten Streßreaktion auf die Myokardkinetik zu untersuchen.
