Zusammenfassung
Neurodestruktive Verfahren werden in der Schmerztherapie schon seit sehr langer Zeit angewendet. Sie hatten ursprünglich ihre theoretische Grundlage in der Vorstellung, daß das Schmerzleitungssystem ein Kontinuum vom Rezeptor in der Peripherie bis zum „Schmerzzentrum“ im Großhirn ist.
