Zusammenfassung

In der Therapie des Asthma bronchiale haben sich in den letzten Jahren erhebliche Fortschritte vollzogen. Dies liegt nicht nur darin begründet, daß neue pharmakologische Prinzipien entwickelt wurden, sondern die ausschließliche Anfallstherapie durch eine gezielte präventive Therapie ersetzt wurde. Alle therapeutischen Eingriffe, einschließlich der Immuntherapie, Psychotherapie und der physikalischen Therapie, müssen die verschiedenen Angriffspunkte berücksichtigen und stellen somit einen Kombinationskatalog verschiedener ineinandergreifender Maßnahmen dar. Die in weiten Grenzen variable Symptomatik und das Auftreten eines hyperreagiblen Bronchialsystems erfordern, unter Berücksichtigung der verschiedenen pathogenetischen Mechanismen, fast regelmäßig differenzierte therapeutische Maßnahmen.
