Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff „diabetische Herzkrankheit“ umfaßt nicht nur die koronare Herzkrankheit, d.h. die Gefäßerkrankungen des Herzens, sondern auch Defekte am Herzmuskel (Kardiomyopathie) und der nervalen Versorgung des Herzens (kardiale Neuropathie).
