Zusammenfassung
Nach zögerlichem Einsatz an zunächst nur wenigen Universitäten hat sich die kardiale Kernspintomographie inzwischen exponentiell verbreitet; bis zum Beginn des Jahres 1995 waren in der Bundesrepublik weit über 400 Geräte installiert. Während aufgrund der anfänglich sehr trägen Aufnahmesequenzen mit der vorgegebenen „hardware“der kernspintomographischen Anlagen nur eine morphologische Herzdiagnostik möglich schien, ergeben sich in jüngster Zeit mit neuesten „software“-Modifikationen bei unveränderten apparativen Anlagen ungeahnte Möglichkeiten der Erweiterung des diagnostischen Spektrums in Funktionsaussagen hinein. Mit der schnellen Darstellung fließenden Blutes ist die Kemspinangiokardiographie ohne Kontrastmittel schon längst Wirklichkeit geworden und die neue Kombination mit Subtraktionstechniken hat auch bereits eine angiographieäquivalente Gefäßdarstellung ermöglicht.
