Bei der Definition des Integrals in Kapitel 7 haben wir nur abgeschlossene Integrationsintervalle [a,b] und nur beschränkte Integranden zugelassen. Diese Einschränkungen gelten auch in dem vorangegangenen Kapitel. Daher sind Integrale wie zum Beispiel \(\int\limits_{\rm O}^\infty {{\text{e}}^{ - {\text{x}}} \,{\text{dx}}}\) oder \(\int\limits_{\rm O}^1 {\frac{1}{{\sqrt {\text{x}} }}\,{\text{dx}}} \) noch nicht definiert.
