Zusammenfassung
Das Ursachenspektrum hämorrhagischer Zystitiden ist vielfältig. In der Mehrzahl liegen akute bakterielle, mykotische oder parasitäre Erkrankungen zugrunde. Diese Blutungen sind jedoch fast immer kausal therapierbar, ebenso wie Hämorrhagien aufgrund eines urothelialen Karzinoms. In Einzelfällen (wie beispielsweise bei einem lokal progredienten Prostatakarzinom) kann jedoch eine symptomatische Blutstillung erforderlich werden.
