Zusammenfassung

Plötzlich einsetzender heftiger Flankenschmerz durch Obstruktion des Ureters ist eine der häufigsten urologischen Notfallsituationen. Ist der Schmerz kolikartig, und besteht zusätzlich eine Hämaturie, liegt die Verdachtsdiagnose eines Uretersteines nahe. Männer erkranken häufiger als Frauen, die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Rezidives ist groß (s. Befunde 14, 15).
