Zusammenfassung
Die Normalverteilung von Gewicht und Länge für das entsprechende Gestations- und Lebensalter kann aus Wachstumskurven (z.B. der sogenannten Züricher Wachstumskurve) abgelesen werden (s. Anhang). Der Verlauf der Wachstumskurven hängt auch vom Gewicht der Mutter und der Parität ab.
