Zusammenfassung

Jedes Einbringen von Material in ein System bewirkt eine Veränderung der stofflichen Umweltqualität, unabhängig davon, ob der Stoffeintrag auf natürlichem Weg oder durch menschliche Tätigkeit erfolgt. Ob diese Veränderung meßbar ist bzw. ob sie zu — erwünschten oder unerwünschten — Wirkungen führt, hängt vom Verhalten der Substanz ab, das Ausmaß und Dauer der Veränderung bestimmt.
