Some Consequences of the Postulates

Abstract

In discussing the analyticity of Wightman functions wⁿ(z_i, ⋯ z _n ) two important facts were mentioned in section 2. First, if z₁, ⋯ z _n is in the analyticity domain and Λ any complex matrix satisfying (II.2.11) then z′₁, ⋯ z′ _n with z′ _k = Λz _k is in the analyticity domain and wⁿ(z′₁, ⋯ z′ _n ) may be found by applying (an extension of) the transformation law (II.1.9). Secondly in the complex Lorentz group the space-time reflection x^μ → − x^μ can be connected by a continuous path to the identity.
