Zusammenfassung

Gastrointestinale Komplikationen traten in den frühen Jahren der Nierentransplantation mit großer Häufigkeit auf und waren mit einer großen Morbidität und Mortalität verbunden. Glücklicherweise sind viele dieser Komplikationen seltener geworden, wahrscheinlich wegen verbesserter Vorbereitung des Patienten und besserer Immunosuppressionsprotokolle. Gewisse dieser Komplikationen bestehen beim Patienten vor der Transplantation, wie etwa eine Geschwürerkrankung, und können nach der Transplantation Komplikationen verursachen, z.B. eine Blutung. Der potentielle Transplantatkandidat muß deshalb gründlich auf das Bestehen von gastrointestinalen Erkrankungen untersucht und behandelt werden. Tabelle 50 faßt die häufigsten dieser Erkrankungen und Komplikationen bei Nierentransplantierten zusammen.
