Zusammenfassung

Das von dem englischen Arzt Sir James Y. Simpson 1859 erstmals beschriebene Krankheitsbild tritt vorwiegend bei Frauen im mitderen Lebensaher auf. Es handeh sich um meist nachts auftretende Schmerzkrisen im Bereich des Steißbeins und terminalen Mastdarmes, die gelegendich mh einem Zervikal- und Lumbalsyndrom kombiniert sind.
