Abstract
There is very limited published experience using radiotherapy in addition to surgical excision for benign tumor of the salivary glands. Conclusions drawn in regard to local control and/or malignant transformation remain speculative. In the national survey, 73% of the radiation oncologists would not treat salivary gland adenomas.
