Aortendissektion

Zusammenfassung

Obwohl das Krankheitsbild der spontanen Aortendissektion und auch dessen schlechte Prognose aufgrund pathologisch-anatomischer Beobachtungen seit über 200 Jahren bekannt ist, wurde es bis in jüngster Zeit klinisch sehr viel seltener diagnostiziert, als es von der Häufigkeit der Erkrankung zu erwarten wäre (Hirst et al. 1958; Anagnostopoulos 1975). Dies liegt in der Vielfalt und der Vieldeutigkeit der Symptomatik begründet. Von Anagnostopoulos (1975) wird geschätzt, daß sich auf 10–20 Myokardinfarkte 1 Aortendissektion ereignet.
