Abstract

Induced renal carcinomas have different sizes, locations, and macroscopic appearances. Small neoplasms are usually fround in the cortex; they may be cystic and grossly indistinguishable from cystadenomas. Larger tumors occasionally are cystic, but usually are solid and grayish-white with indistinct borders. Areas of necrosis, hemorrhage, and cystic degeneration can be encountered.
