Zusammenfassung

Die Transfusion von Blut oder von Blutkomponenten dient der Behebung eines Defizits. Ein therapiebedürftiges Defizit besteht in den allermeisten Fällen nicht für alle Fraktionen des Blutes, deshalb stellt eine Therapie mit Blutkomponenten sowohl aus medizinischen wie auch aus ökonomischen Gründen den rationalen Weg der Transfusionstherapie dar.
