Zusammenfassung

Die pulmonalen Veränderungen nach Aspiration von Amnionflüssigkeit und/oder Mekonium werden als Aspirationssyndrom bezeichnet. Obwohl bei etwa 10–20% aller Geburten mit einer Mekoniumpassage in das Fruchtwasser gerechnet werden muß, liegt die Häufigkeit der Mekoniumaspiration nur bei etwa 0,09% aller Geburten [4, 9].
