Zusammenfassung

Über die Epidemiologie der Lymphogranulomatose (M. Hodgkin) ist, gemessen an ihrer Häufigkeit und gesundheitspolitischen Bedeutung, verhältnismäßig viel bekannt [99]. Die höchsten Inzidenzraten sind in der Schweiz (4.7 für Männer und 3.7 für Frauen in Vaud), die niedrigsten in Japan mit 0.6 und 0.3 zu finden. Im europäischen Vergleich sind in Südeuropa hohe Raten (Italien 4.0 bzw. 2.1, Spanien 4.5 bzw. 2.5), in Osteuropa (mit 1.6 für Männer in Ungarn und 1.0 für Frauen in Rumänien) niedrige Raten zu verzeichnen. Die Bundesrepublik liegt mit 3.0 in Hamburg und 2.3 im Saarland für Männer, sowie 1.7 für Frauen in beiden Registern im Bereich mittlerer Häufigkeiten.

Abstract

In view of its frequency and its importance for public health, knowledge about the epidemiology of lymphogranulomatosis (Hodgkin’s disease) is relatively extensive [99]. The highest incidence rates prevail in Switzerland (4.7 for men and 3.7 for women in Vaud), the lowest in Japan, with 0.6 and 0.3. In the European comparison, high rates are recorded in southern Europe (Italy 4.0 and 2.1, respectively; Spain 4.5 and 2.5, respectively), low rates in eastern Europe (with 1.6 for men in Hungary and 1.0 for women in Romania). In the Federal Republic of Germany with 3.0 in Hamburg and 2.3 in the Saarland for men and 1.7 for women, intermediate frequencies are found in both regions.
