Statistical Physics I

Part of the book series: Springer Series in Solid-State Sciences ((SSSOL,volume 30))

Abstract

In the preceding chapters, we have described the general methods in statistical mechanics mostly on the basis of quantum mechanics. But in this chapter, we shall describe the ergodic problems based mainly on classical mechanics, the reason for which will be first made clear.
