Zusammenfassung

Mit den verschiedenen in Frage kommenden Veränderungen der Leber, des Gallenwegsystems und des Pankreas haben wir uns ja bereits beschäftigt. Die Ultraschallexploration beim Ikterus vollzieht sich in logischen und einander ergänzenden Schritten. An erster Stelle steht die Sicherung der Diagnose, ob eine Gallenwegsdilatation besteht oder nicht: Dilatation entweder des Ductus choledochus, des Ductus hepaticus communis oder der Gallenblase. An zweiter Stelle strebt man danach, die Höhe des Abflußhindernisses zu präzisieren; zuletzt versucht man, eine Aussage über die Natur der Behinderung zu machen.
