Zusammenfassung

Elektrokardiographie und Vektorkardiographie sind klinisch angewandte Methoden zur Exploration des elektrischen Feldes des Herzens unter Zuhilfenahme von Oberflächenpotentialen. Die beiden Methoden unterscheiden sich jedoch in ihrer Registrierung. Bei der Elektrokardiographie werden die Feldänderungen durch skalare Größen in der Form einer Spannungs-Zeit-Kurve erfaßt. Es sind zahlreiche Ableitungen mit verschiedenen Ableitelinien notwendig, durch die das elektrische Feld von verschiedenen Richtungen aus exploriert wird. Dabei erfassen einige von ihnen sicherlich auch Lokalpotentiale (Gillmann 1954).
