Abstract

Low-grade malignant lymphomas (ML) are defined as lymphomas composed, in the main, of small, or at most medium-sized, cells. These are called “-cytes” to conform with haematological usage. In some low-grade ML they are interspersed with larger, basophilic cells, which are correspondingly called “-blasts”.
