Zusammenfassung

Nahezu alle epithelialen Zellen in Urinproben stammen von der epithehalen Auskleidung, d.h. vornehmhch dem Übergangszellepithel oder Urothel von Nierenbecken, Ureter, Blase und Harnröhre (Abb. 1), oder hieraus entstandenen Neoplasien. Zellen des Nierenparenchyms spielen eine untergeordnete Rolle in der Urinzytologie.
