Zusammenfassung

Der Funktionszustand der Magenschleimhaut hängt von zahlreichen nervalen und humoralen Faktoren ab. Sensorische und psychische Einflüsse wirken über den Vagus direkt stimulierend auf die Parietalzellen im Magenfundus. Diese - z. B. durch den Anblick von Speisen ausgelöste — nervale Phase der Magensekretion geht dann in die humorale, gastrale (antrale) Phase über, bei der es mechanisch durch Dehnung des Antrums infolge Flüssigkeits- oder Nahrungszufuhr oder chemisch durch Alkohol oder Coffein zu einer Freisetzung von Gastrin aus den spezifischen, Gastrin-bildenden Zellen der Antrumschleimhaut kommt.
